Stayed 3 nights in a 2 bedroom unit. Great shower, comfy bed. Walking distance to 2 supermarkets and numerous eating places. Unit was serviced regularly and was very clean.

My children and I had a wonderful stay on Tuesday. We were sad not to have stayed longer.. The 2br apartment was clean, spacious and quiet for us all.
(Only downside was that the spa was unusually hot and couldn't stay in very long). Frances and John were such lovely hosts and we look forward to returning in the future. Thanks so much, kind regards - Maureen

We spent 3 weeks at the motel and our hosts Frances and John were super friendly, nothing was a problem. Our rooms were easy to live in over a long stay. We would definately recommend the Kapiti Gateway Motel, so close to all amenities on the coast. Thank you.

I am a professional class 5 driver and this place is perfect for my line of work. Traveling the country is part of the Job and staying in hotels is the norm.
Good parking for a class 5 Truck, at certain times of the day, usually from 5pm onwards you can literally park right outside the hotel.
This time I had enough parking for my 3 rows of 8 and dolly, 3.1m wide 4.5 high, and still had room to walk down the side of the without being in the live lane.
Close walk to new world and takeaways.
Rooms are very clean and tidy.
Service is great and very helpful.
Location is great for what I do.
Response:Good morning Jeremiah thank you so much for your review and mentioning all the positives around parking for professional Truck drivers. Kind regards Frances and the team @ Kapiti Gateway Motel.
