Our district has a wonderful network of cycling and walking trails that are safe and accessible for people of all ages and levels of fitness. To make it easy for you to get out and explore our trails we can supply easy-to-read maps that list ten trails covering more than 100 kilometres of the Kāpiti Coast. So load up your bike, grab your walking shoes and get out and explore. (Bike hire available).

The Kapiti Coast Museum is a local museum whose displays and collections focus on the natural, social and cultural heritage of the Kapiti region. The museum is housed in the original Waikanae Post office building recognised by the Historic Places Trust (Category 2).
