TARIFFS: All rates listed are in NZ dollars and inclusive of GST @ 15%.
CHECK IN-OUT : Check in is between 2pm - 9pm on the day of arrival. After hours arrivals are welcome, please contact motel to arrange this. Check out by 10am on the day of departure. A later check-out may be possible, please contact reception should you require this (a charge may apply).
CANCELLATIONS received prior to 3 days of scheduled arrival will incur no charge/s. For cancellations received within 3 days of arrival full cost of accommodation may be charged to the credit card supplied or invoiced to guest. If guest fails to arrive prior to 10am the day following scheduled arrival date, all accommodation booked will be charged in full. Up to one month cancellation notice will be required for peak holiday dates. Special cancellation terms and conditions apply to group bookings.
All non-refundable bookings are pre-paid, non-refundable and non-transferable.

CHANGES to reservation: An extension to reservation term is a new booking and subject to availability. Any reduction in length of stay will be treated as a cancellation and subject to our standard cancellation policy.
SMOKING is not permitted in any of the rooms. Guests are welcome to smoke outside away from door ways and open windows. If smoking occurs within the rooms, motel management reserves the right to charge specialist cleaning costs.
VISITORS are welcome but are not permitted on the premises after 10pm. We ask you to respect your fellow guests and noise must be kept to a minimum past this time. Parties and noisy gatherings are not permitted at Kapiti Gateway Motel. Motel management reserves the right to terminate the stay of any guest that does not comply to this rule.
DAMAGE/LOSS to the room or property of Kapiti Gateway Motel, whether intentional or accidental, will be the full responsibility of the registered guest. Any charges incurred will be passed to the registered guest (including insurance excess) by debiting the credit card provided or by invoice.
PAYMENT TERMS: Standard Rates - All reservations require a valid credit card. The credit card may be predebited for the full cost of accommodation booked ahead of shceduled arrival. Please ensure funds are available at all times, otherwise booking may cancel. By arrangement an invoice can be sent for payment by terms agreed. Guest will be liable for all costs incurred recovering an overdue account.
Non-refundable Rates - The credit card may be debited for the full value of accommodation booked for the room type and room rate confirmed.
We accept EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard (credit card and contactless transaction fees may apply).
PETS are welcome at Kapiti Gateway Motel by prior arrangement only. Please contact Motel Management to discuss. Strict conditions apply. If it has been approved by motel management that your pet will be in your room with you, the following rules apply:
