We moved to Kapiti in 2001 and simply love living here. Kapiti has such stunning scenery, great beaches and walks, wonderful cafe's and of course Kapiti Island Nature Reserve nestled just off shore. Kapiti is less than 1 hour train ride from Wellington City. However as well as the amazing location it really is the people that make Waikanae special.
